Marlboro's CogAT math placement and FRHSD's math credits
- Marlboro uses CogAT scores in math placement. In 2026-27, grade 3 tests December 1 to 3, grade 5 on December 1 and 2, and grade 6 on February 9 and 10. Grade 3 scores feed C level math in grades 4 and 5, and grade 5 and 6 scores feed middle school C level and accelerated math.
- Marlboro students in grades 3 to 8 take New Jersey's adaptive NJSLA-A math test in spring. The district's spring 2027 window is April 19 to May 21, 2027, and each school posts its own schedule. The math test totals 150 minutes over two 75-minute sessions.
- Marlboro teens attend Freehold Regional High School District schools, which require 120 credits to graduate, including 15 math credits: Algebra I, Geometry and a third year that builds on them. Grade 11 students take the NJGPA-A, New Jersey's graduation test, in the March 1 to 19, 2027 window.
A one-to-one online tutor can build the reasoning skills behind Marlboro's C level and accelerated math placement, prepare students for NJSLA-A, and support Algebra I and Geometry for FRHSD graduation.
