- DC students in grades 3 to 8, Algebra I and Geometry take DC CAPE math. OSSE says DC CAPE 2.0 begins with the spring 2027 administration, using computer-adaptive tests built on Smarter Balanced content. OSSE will no longer produce an Algebra II test for high school math.
